Kelmscott Manor and Oxford (Thurs., Sep. 27)
Kelmscott Manor, a Tudor farmhouse adjacent to the River Thames, was built of local limestone on the edge of the village of Kelmscott in 1570. William Morris chose it as his summer home, signing a joint lease with Dante Gabriel Rossetti in the summer of 1871.
